Once you have downloaded the WeMoney App, you will be guided through the sign-up process where you will have the opportunity to verify your current Australian Driver’s Licence or Australian Passport. Should you have trouble successfully verifying your ID despite entering in the correct details, you may need to complete our Manual Verification Process and upload your documents to receive assistance from our support team.
This can be completed within the WeMoney App and we can accept the following combination of documents:
Primary ID: Australian driver’s licence, passport or proof of age card
Secondary ID: Medicare card
Proof of Address: Any bill or letter that includes your full name and current address
Important notes when uploading your documents:
Make sure the document is clear and readable, we will not be able to verify blurry documents.
Capture the entire document, don't fold, crop, or exclude any part of the document.
Upload a photo of the physical document or a digital copy of the document.
We do ask that you complete a failed in-app verification attempt prior to or following this step, as it ensures you are able to read and accept WeMoney’s terms of service.
