So you're done setting up your POS. Now, it's time to make a sale!

First, navigate over to the POS feature by clicking on the Wemu logo in the top left and choosing Point of Sales

To process a sale, first tap on the item/s that are to be sold.

Now, you can specify the quantity and write down any relevant notes.

Once done, click Add. This will automatically update the item list on the right side.

Repeat until all products are added.

You can also note down some customer information (and we recommend you do!) for the sale by tapping on the plus sign at the top right.

The next screen shows you all the customers you’ve listed down. If you have a repeat customer on your hands, just tap their name on this screen. If this is your first time adding in a customer, click on Add at the top right of the screen.

This allows you to write down the customer’s name, email address, and phone number among other things.

Once done, tap on Add.

At this point, you can also apply any discounts you’ve prepared.

If the customer is ready to pay, click on Charge at the lower right. If not, you can also tap on Save. This will save the transaction to the Orders page, and you’ll be able to come back to it later there.

Once Charge is clicked, choose between cash payment and card payment (note that the card payment option is for tracking purposes only) then click Pay Now.

Input the amount received and click on the blue check.

The next page tells you how much change you need to prepare and allows you to send your customer a receipt of the purchase by entering their email address and clicking Yes, Please. If a receipt is not needed, click No, Thanks.

Congrats! You’ve just made your first sale through Wemu.

You can view a list of your transactions on the Orders page by tapping on the shopping cart icon at the bottom of the POS. Pending transactions that have been saved will also appear here.

The POS can also help you keep track of your cash on hand through the Cash Drawer. If you want to learn how to use it, click here.
