Step 1: Log into Populi
After you become a student, you will receive an email prompting you to log in to Populi, your student academic platform. This is where you will register for courses each term and pay your tuition.
Your email will look something like this:
Click the link in the email to set your password to log in. The link will expire after 2 weeks so be sure to log in before that time. After you click the link, you will be taken to a new window and prompted to create a password. Follow the on-screen instructions.
After you create your password and log in, you’ll be taken to your Dashboard in Populi. This screen is your main navigation page. It acts as a landing page for alerts and provides a quick view of courses. When registration is open, you will see an alert like the one shown below. Click the alert to go to the registration page.
Step 2: Register for Courses
When you click the "registration is open” link, you will be directed to your “Registration” tab in Populi where you can see which courses are available to you. Any course that is open and is not full will have a green plus sign next to it. Remember: Seats in classes are first come, first served! So register early if you are really committed to tacking a particular course. Once you find the course you'd like to add to your schedule, click the green plus sign as shown in the image below.
Once complete, you will be prompted to hit “Save.” Be sure to save you courses before navigating away from this page.
It's that simple! Your added courses will now be displayed at the top of your “Registration” tab as shown below.
If you'd like to drop or add any classes during the week long open-registration period just revisit your Populi account. Registration closes a week after it opens. If you miss the registration period, you will not be able to register for course in that term. Once registration is closed, we will finalize all your requests and invoice your tuition.
