How to access your new Westminster Canvas account
After enrolling, you will be automatically added to your Westminster courses once they are published online in Canvas by the faculty and staff. Visit https://canvas.wts.edu to sign in. The webpage that opens will give you the option to login as an "Online Student."
After choosing "Online Students," you will use your Populi username and password to sign-in to Canvas.
Google Chrome is the preferred web browser when accessing Canvas on a computer.
You can always get back to Canvas via the Westminster Student Dashboard, or directly at "wts.edu/canvas". where you would sign in again with your Populi username and password.
Upon signing in to Canvas, you will be directed to a landing page that shows your current classes.
On the right side you will see upcoming deadlines, assignments, and notifications. Or click on a class to see its lectures and materials. The left side bar offers various other tools and options.
Once inside a course you can navigate the weekly video lectures and assignments. For more training on using Canvas, please use the Canvas Orientation course which offers many helpful videos that overview the features and uses of Canvas.
