If you click on the title of a risk, issue or opportunity from anywhere in WeTrack, you will be taken to the Details Page for that item. This page provides full information about the risk, issue or opportunity, any actions necessary to deal with, mitigate or close the item, linked items, attachments, insurance policies – and much more!

In short, this is the place to go to look into the detail of a risk. Crucially, you can now make changes to the risk in this view, too – simply hover over any field and click ‘Edit’ to update the information for that field.

The page is split into two halves. The top half contains detail about the Risk itself, including the following:

  • Risk title, at the very top of the page;

  • RAG status, which is a calculation of the risk’s Impact and Likelihood, which can be edited just next to the RAG status;

  • the Status of the risk, either Open, Draft, or Closed, again editable in-line;

  • any responsible department or individual;

  • the Project of which it is part;

  • the Impact Type of the risk: you can customise these types in Settings;

  • the Strategy for dealing with the risk, covering Insure, Avoid, Mitigate, Share, Accept, Exploit, and Contingency;

You can then click ‘Show More’ to reveal the following details:

  • a Description for the risk;

  • the Ref code for the risk;

  • any Tags that have been applied to the risk;

  • if applicable, the Event to which the risk relates;

  • any Start and Due Dates for the risk;

  • the Privacy Status for the risk, either Open or Confidential;

  • any Insurance Coverage added to the risk;

  • the individual who identified the Risk;

  • the Financial Impact of the risk;

  • and the baseline (original) Likelihood, Impact, and RAG of the risk, allowing you to track its progress since creation.

The second tab in the top half of the page lets you add additional info to the risk, such as an action plan for dealing with the risk. The third tab shows you any Zone, Area or Location that has been applied to the Risk. You can set up zones and areas in the Location Manager, found in Settings.

In the second half of the page are five more tabs that reveal greater detail about the items within and associated to the risk.

  • History. This tab lets you add comments to the risk and also shows you a full audit history of all changes or additions to the risk.

  • Actions. This tab shows a list of all of the actions that need to be taken to deal with the risk, issue or opportunity. You add new actions here, or click into an action to view further information.

  • Linked Items. Here, you can see any tasks, sub-tasks, projects, risks, issues or opportunities that have been associated to this item, or you can create new links between items.

  • Attachments. Here, you can upload files or links to the risk, or view any files and links that have already been associated to the risk.

  • Insurance Policies. You can add insurance coverage to the risk in the top half of the details page, by hovering over the field and clicking Edit. In this tab, you’ll see any policies that this Risk has been linked to.

When viewing a Risk Details Page, the left-hand side-panel (just to the left of the Risk Detail) is a handy navigation tool. Here, you can click on other filtered Risks, or click ‘Back’ to return to the Risks, Issues & Opportunities homepage. Any filters that you had applied will remain active.
