Share an incident with a colleague

Should you need to inform a user of an incident that has been raised, of if there has been an important development, there is the ability to share it through WeTrack. This notifies the user by email and in their notification centre.

Please not this works differently to adding a comment with an @ mention, as this action will NOT form part of the item’s indelible audit history.

To share an incident, follow these steps;

Incident List

  • Click on the three dots on the right-hand side of the item’s card or details page

  • Select 'Share Incident'/'Share Log Item'

Within an Incident

  • From within the incident details page, you can click on the three dots at the top right of the page

  • Through both options, you then will see a popup asking you to add a comment and which user you would like to inform.

  • By clicking 'Share', the user will receive an email notifying them of your comment, as well as the incident details. They will also receive a notification within the system.
