As your organization grows and your Whale content library expands, keeping track of who’s creating, editing, or deleting content becomes essential. Workspace Activity gives you a behind-the-scenes view of all content changes, acting as the “machine room” of your workspace. When combined with Analytics, you gain powerful insights into how your team manages and maintains your documentation.
📊 View Workspace Activity
Step 1: Open Analytics
Navigate to the Analytics section in Whale.
Step 2: Access Workspace Activity
On the left-hand side, select Workspace Activity.
Step 3: Filter the activity log
Use filters to find exactly what you need:
Date Range – See changes within a specific period.
Member – View actions taken by a specific team member.
Action – Filter by activity type such as edits, creations, or deletions.
✅ Example: If you want to review all content updates made by Sarah last week, filter by her name and set the date range accordingly.
♻ Restore Deleted Content
If something is deleted by mistake:
In Workspace Activity, set the Action filter to Delete.
Find the deleted Card or Playbook.
Click Restore icon to recover it instantly.
✅ Example: If the “New Hire Onboarding Checklist” was deleted, you can quickly locate it in the delete log and bring it back without rebuilding it from scratch.
