Great question! Traditional street addresses are not always accurate enough to get you to your precise destination, whereas a what3words address takes you exactly where you want to go.

Here are three reasons what3words is better for navigating than a regular street address:

  1. what3words addresses help you find exact locations, like a specific entrance or parking spot. This can be handy with big buildings, hotels, hospitals, stadiums or airports. Traditional street addresses unhelpfully refer to whole buildings.

  2. Each what3words address is entirely unique. Street addresses are often duplicated, which can lead to drivers wasting time navigating to the wrong place.

  3. Everywhere has a what3words address. For the more adventurous out there, what3words can help you find scenic points off the beaten track which are hard to describe, difficult to locate, and may not have a traditional address at all.
