Why it matters

Step-by-Step: Manage channel users
Open Settings > Channels.
Select the channel you want to manage.
Open the Users tab.
Use Search Name and Email to find a user already assigned to the channel.
Click the add user control if you need to add someone to the channel.
Select the eligible user and confirm the change.
Ask the user to refresh Whippy if their channel access does not appear immediately.
Tips and Best Practices
Use channel users for channel access and roles for broader permissions.
Review channel access when a teammate changes teams or responsibilities.
Admins may already have broader access and may not appear in add-user lists the same way as standard users.
Keep channel access limited to people who need to work in that channel.
Troubleshooting
