Workflow & Logic

Our goal is to make assessing your vendors easier and more automated. We are eager to share the new ability to set up custom workflow and logic.

You will find this feature in Program Automation (left menu under Admin Tools). Select Define Pre-Questionnaire Workflow and Logic. Select Add New. You can begin setting up your desired workflow based on a series of IF and IS statements with associated actions for each. Each option is determined by your custom intake form components. The request will automatically be assigned from the oldest admin in the company. As seen here (link), vendor users do not see the specific requester. Managing these assessments is made easier by the various vendor catalog columns and the notifications that all managed admins receive about vendors and assessments.

For example:

  • IF Type of Vendor IS Prospective 1) Assign risk to High 2) Send questionnaire CAIQ-Lite 3) Notify legal@whistic.com

Finally, feel free to add additional conditions and even additional workflows.

Renaming Components

You can now edit an existing component or question on the intake form without a new field being created.

File Uploads

Attach files to the intake form! When editing your custom intake form, use the new field type - File Upload. Users that fill out the form can then upload files directly to the form. The files are then saved in the new vendor profile record under the Document Repository section.

Follow Up Notifications

You can now set reminders for other teammates, in addition to yourself. To do this, simply open the vendor profile and look under the Follow Up section, on the right.

There, you can set the 1) follow up message; 2) date the reminder will go out; 3) the recipient(s). Select Save. Notice the message is tracked above with option to remove if needed (select the trash icon). A saved message can't be edited.

If your vendor profile is not reflecting the correct Bitsight record, you can update it to reflect the correct information. To do this, open the vendor profile and select Edit Vendor. Finally, select the pencil icon next to the BitSight score. A window will appear with the option to link or disconnect a record.

Import Vendor Profile from Trust Catalog

Once a vendor is in your Vendor Catalog, you can now pull in all associated information contained in the vendor's Trust Catalog profile.

If the domain of the vendor matches the domain in the Trust Catalog, the Trust Catalog icon will display under the Assessment Activity. Select the icon to import the profile. You can then review any associated data without needing to send a request!

Additionally, if there are multiple profiles you'll get the option to choose which profile to submit and upload.

Once a profile has been successfully imported, the Trust Catalog icon will be greyed out. Once there are updates to the associated Trust Catalog profile, the icon will reappear as blue and give you the option to import the new data.
