Working with lesson plans

The lesson plan feature helps you streamline your teaching process by organizing activities and workbooks into a logical, prearranged order. Instead of switching between resources manually, you can simply click through your lesson steps. You can edit or duplicate lesson plans at any time to suit your needs.

Adding a lesson

Follow these steps to add a lesson:

  • Click into the course where you want to create a lesson.

  • Select the Lessons tab.

  • Click Add a Lesson.

  • Type your lesson's name in the space at the top.

  • Add steps to your lesson by selecting activities and workbooks.

  • Customize your lesson steps using the provided options:

    • Shuffle word lists by clicking Shuffle.

    • Add or remove words by clicking Add/Remove Words.

    • Reorder lesson steps using the up (^) arrows.

    • Delete a step by clicking the X icon.

    • Add more steps by clicking Add a Step.

    • Rename the lesson by clicking its name and typing a new one.

    • Rename a step by clicking its name and typing a new one.

  • Save your work by clicking Save for Later, or start teaching right away by clicking Begin Lesson.

Editing a lesson step

To edit a step in your lesson:

  • Click into the course where your lesson is located.

  • Select the Lessons tab.

  • Click the three dots on the lesson you want to update and then click Edit.

  • Make the necessary changes to your lesson steps.

  • Click Save for Later when you're done.
