Updated over 10 months ago

Having sufficient screen space when teaching is important, so if you prefer using Whizzimo without the address bar and distracting browser tabs, you can create a desktop icon to access the app in a clean window. Here’s how you can set it up using Google Chrome.

  • Open Google Chrome and go to app.whizzimo.com.

  • Click the three dots in the upper-right corner of your browser window.

  • Hover over the options for Cast, Save, and Share, then select Install page as app….

  • A box will appear where you can rename the app (this is optional). Once you’re ready, click Install.

  • The Whizzimo app will open in a new window without the address bar.

A Whizzimo icon in white and purple will also appear on your desktop. Double-click the icon anytime to open Whizzimo quickly. The Refresh button is in the upper-left corner in case you need to reload a page.

💡 If you need to make your screen bigger or smaller, click the three dots in the upper-right corner and + or - to zoom in or out

💡 On Windows computers, pin the Whizzimo icon to your taskbar for even easier access by right-clicking the icon and selecting “Pin to taskbar.”

Now you can enjoy a clutter-free experience with Whizzimo!
