Whizzimo is made up of Courses, Workbooks, Activities and Lesson plans.

Course: A course is the highest level of organization in the program. It houses content for your curriculum. Courses can be labeled in any way that makes sense for your materials. Some users may name a course after a student or a topic, for example: Vowels 2.5 or Sarah's Sight Words could be the name of a course. Once a course is established, workbooks and lessons can be added.

Workbook: A workbook is where all yours words go. You can choose from Whizzimo's premade word lists or build your own. Once you have your course structure, you can add workbooks to your courses. You can modify the words in your workbooks at any time.

Activity: An activity is how users interact with the program. There are 14 activities and they are the same for every workbook. Activities include the Blackboard, Workbook Tiles, Mini Tile Board, Wordcards, Timed Reading, Flashcards, Lettercards, Sentence Parts, Sentences, Passages, Spelling, Whiteboard, Blank tiles, PDF Viewer, See our activity overview article for more details.

Lesson Plans: A lesson plan can be used to create an automatic flow of your content by preselecting what course, workbook and activity you would like to use in a particular order. You can modify your lesson plans at any time and customize them as needed.
