Working with lesson plans

The lesson plan feature allows you to create lessons using any workbook or activity in your course! Instead of manually switching between activities or workbooks, lesson plans allow you to click through your lesson steps in a prearranged order that makes sense for how YOU teach it. You can duplicate or edit your lessons at any time.

Add a lesson

  1. Click into the course you would like to work with

  2. Select the lessons tab

  3. Choose add a lesson

  4. Give your lesson a name by typing the name in the lesson plan name space on the top

  5. Begin adding steps to your lesson by selecting the activity and workbook you'd like to use

  6. Use the links and down menus for each step to do the following:

    • shuffle your words lists by clicking shuffle

    • add/remove words by clicking add/remove words and selecting the applicable words

    • reorder lesson steps using the ^ arrows

    • delete a step using the x

    • add additional steps to the lesson using the add a step link

    • rename a lesson by clicking the current name and typing in the new name

    • rename a lesson steps by clicking the current step name and typing in the new name

7. Modify the lesson steps needed and click save for later to save your work OR click begin lesson to jump right into your content.

Edit a lesson step

  1. Click into the course you would like to work with

  2. Select the lessons tab

  3. Modify the lesson steps needed and click save for later
