Your Barton Remote Tutoring System content contains the letter tiles, prebuilt words, PDFs, and more that you'll need for your tutoring sessions. This content is organized and ready to go for you with just a few clicks. See below to learn the basics of navigating this content.

To open a Barton book, click Courses in the sidebar. If you don’t see the full sidebar, click the W icon to expand it.

Next, select the Barton book you want to use. The selected book will be highlighted in purple.

Repeat this process whenever you need to access a Barton book.

Once you’ve located the Barton book in the course that you want to teach, click Begin. This will take you directly to the first step of the lesson.

While in a lesson, click the name of the current step in the upper-left corner. This will open the Select A Lesson Step modal.

Choose the step you want to teach next, and you’ll be taken there. Scroll through the list to find the step you need, as all steps are organized in sequential order.

You can repeat this process as you move through the lesson.

To switch to a different lesson within the same Barton book, click the current lesson’s name in the upper-left corner. This will open the Select A Lesson Plan menu.

Select the lesson you need, and you’ll be taken directly to it.

All lessons are listed in order, including the post-test at the end of the book. Scroll through the list to find the lesson you need. Repeat this process whenever switching lessons.
