Learn which Proof of Identity (POI) documents are accepted to verify your identity

Accepted Proof of Identity (POI) documents:

  • Passport

  • Identification card

Note: due to regulations, we are not permitted to accept any other types of identification documents.

Make sure your document meets these criteria:

  1. Validity: your document must be valid for at least 3 months or more from the date of submission.

  2. All 4 corners visible: when snapping your photo, ensure that all four corners of the document are clearly visible — no cropping or cutting off edges!

  3. Full color: the image must be in full color. Black-and-white or grayscale photos won't capture the details we need.

  4. No edits or alterations: please submit the photo exactly as taken — no filters, cropping, retouching, or any other modifications.

  5. Clear & readable: every detail on the document must be sharp, legible, and fully visible. Blurry, faded, or obscured text won't be accepted.
