Sending crypto with Wickie is straightforward and secure, whether you’re using the mobile app or the web version. Below you’ll find simple, clear guidance for both.
📱 Mobile App
Tap Payments → Send money → Crypto
Pick the cryptocurrency and enter the amount, then tap Continue
Select My wallet (currently the only option due to regulatory requirements)
Enter the recipient's wallet address:
Manual entry — higher risk of mistakes
Copy & paste — medium security
Scan QR code — most secure ✅
In the Payment destination field enter your full name and the wallet provider (e.g. Ledger, Exodus, OneKey)
⚠️ Without this, the transaction will not be accepted
Review the details, tap Confirm, and approve with two-factor authentication
🌐 Web Version
Go to Payments & Transfers → Crypto
Choose the cryptocurrency and enter the amount
Select My wallet (currently the only option due to regulatory requirements)
Enter the recipient's wallet address:

🔐 Very important: first transfer to a private wallet
If you’re sending crypto to your private wallet for the first time, Swiss regulations require the wallet to be whitelisted before the transfer can go through.
To whitelist a wallet:
Initiate the transaction in a regular way
Follow further instruction sent you by email
