The in-app $WIFI wallet will be removed from the WiFi Map mobile app on April 15.
If you currently have eligible $WIFI tokens stored in your wallet, we recommend withdrawing them to an external wallet before April 15 while access is still available. This will ensure you retain full control of your tokens.

Why this change is happening
Due to updated policies from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store regarding cryptocurrency features in mobile applications, we are required to remove wallet functionality from the WiFi Map mobile app.
These changes allow WiFi Map to continue operating within current platform guidelines.
About rewards in the Earn Wallet
$WIFI rewards were temporarily paused while our team was rebuilding the rewards system and working on the feature that transfers tokens from the Earn Wallet to the Main Wallet.
Because the in-app wallet must be removed to comply with mobile platform policies, rewards that remained in a pending state unfortunately could not be finalized inside the mobile app.
We understand this may be disappointing, especially for contributors who were waiting for their rewards.
What comes next
While wallet functionality is being removed from the mobile app, this is not the end of WiFi Map’s crypto journey.
Our team is exploring ways to bring wallet functionality to the WiFi Map website, where it would be easier to expand and improve these systems without the limitations imposed by mobile platforms.
