Unfortunately, corked wine is a hazard in this wine world of ours. First, take a peek at the tasting card that accompanied the wine to see if what you're describing is what we've described as well.

If none of the above applies, it is possible that you received a bad bottle! Please get in touch with us and we can make it right for you!
Once you’ve let us know, one of two things will happen; If you’re a current subscriber, we will apply a credit for the retail value of the defective wine to your WineCollective account. This credit can be used in our online store if you'd like to give that bottle (or a different one) another try. Otherwise, the credit will automatically be applied to your next monthly payment - whichever happens first. If you’re not a current subscriber but have received a gift subscription to WineCollective, we'll be glad to either send you a new shipment to replace the affected bottle(s) or apply a credit for the retail value of the wine to your WineCollective account - whichever you'd prefer.
