[BETA] Zapier Integration

How to set up and use the Beta Zapier integration to send subscriber events (new subscribers, PPV purchases, cancellations) to thousands of apps.

⚠️ This is a Beta feature. To use the Zapier integration, you must first reach out to support@winible.com so our team can invite you to the private Beta Zapier app. Once you've been invited, follow the steps below to connect.

The Winible Zapier integration lets you automatically send your subscriber activity — new signups, pay-per-view purchases, and cancellations — to thousands of apps without writing any code. Sync customers to your email tool, CRM, Google Sheets, Discord, Slack, and more, the moment events happen on your storefront.

⚡ What you can do with it

  • Add new subscribers to your email/SMS marketing lists automatically

  • Log every subscription and PPV purchase to a Google Sheet or CRM

  • Get a Slack or Discord notification when someone subscribes or cancels

  • Trigger win-back flows when a subscription expires

  • Backfill your existing customers into any connected app in one click

✅ Before you start

  • You've emailed support@winible.com and been invited to the Beta Zapier app

  • You have a Zapier account

  • You're logged into Winible as a Creator

🔑 Step 1 — Generate your Winible API key

  1. In Winible, go to Settings → Connections.

  2. Find the Zapier row (marked Beta) and click Connect.

  3. Click Generate API Key.

  4. Copy the key that appears and store it somewhere safe. ⚠️ This key is shown only once. If you lose it, you can generate a new one later (see Managing your connection below).

🔗 Step 2 — Connect the Winible app in Zapier

First, authenticate Winible as a connected app so it's ready to use in any Zap:

  1. In Zapier, open the App Connections tab (from your profile menu, or go to zapier.com/app/connections).

  2. Click Add connection and search for Winible.

  3. Select the Winible app.

  4. When prompted, paste the API key you copied from Winible in Step 1 to authenticate.

  5. Zapier will validate the key — a successful test confirms your Winible account is connected. ✅

🧩 Step 3 — Build your Zap

Now use your connected Winible account as the trigger for a Zap:

  1. Create a new Zap and choose Winible as the trigger app.

  2. Select the trigger event you want (see the table below).

  3. When asked to choose an account, select the Winible connection you authenticated in Step 2.

  4. Set up your action — the app you want to send the data to (e.g. Google Sheets, your email tool, Slack, Discord).

  5. Test your Zap, then turn it on. 🎉

🎯 Available triggers

These are the events Winible can send to Zapier:

Trigger

Fires when…

Includes

New Subscriber

A customer subscribes to one of your plans (free or paid)

Subscriber (name, email, phone), plan, pricing, coupon, subscription & renewal dates

New PPV Purchase

A customer buys a pay-per-view post

Subscriber, post (title), amount paid, purchase date

Subscription Expired

A subscription ends or is canceled

Subscriber, plan, expiration date, reason

Customer Backfill

You manually trigger a backfill of your existing customers (see below)

Subscriber, plan, status, type (free/paid), subscription & renewal dates

🛠️ Managing your connection

Once connected, the Zapier row in Settings → Connections gives you a few extra tools:

  • Test Connection — sends a sample event to each of your active Zaps so you can confirm everything is wired up correctly.

  • Backfill Customers — sends all of your existing active customers to any Zap using the Customer Backfill trigger. Great for populating a list when you first connect. This runs in the background and can take up to 6 hours for large audiences; it can only be triggered once within that window.

  • Edit → Regenerate API key — creates a brand-new key. ⚠️ Regenerating disconnects your existing Zaps until you paste the new key into Zapier.

  • Edit → Delete Connection — removes the integration and stops all events from being sent.

💡 Tip: use Backfill to import existing customers

New triggers only fire for activity that happens after you connect. To bring your current subscribers into a connected app (for example, a mailing list), add a Zap that uses the Customer Backfill trigger, then click Backfill Customers in Winible.
