We recommend the Adobe plugin is installed via Adobe Creative Clouds Marketplace.
Make sure you have the latest version of the Creative Cloud App and the plugin is compatible with the version of Premiere Pro or After Effects you are running,
If the plugin does not show in your apps extensions menu you can try the following processes:
Install the plugin before opening Premiere Pro and After Effects
Have a project open before trying to open the extension panel
Uninstall and reinstall the Wipster extension from Creative Cloud
Quit Creative Cloud and Re-open to help it reset and look for new updates
Clear all files related to Wipster from the Adobe cache
On Mac:
Select the Finder menu > Go > Go To Folder...
Paste:
~/Library/Caches/CSXS/cep_cache/
Delete all folders that contain references to Wipster
On PC:
Navigate to
C:/Users/<USERNAME>/AppData/Local/Temp/cep_cache/
Delete all folders that contain references to Wipster
Still having issues?
You can download the file manually from Adobe's Extensions site.
Please note that this way requires maintenance and for you to continue to update the installed extension and not automatically update by Adobe.
To remove a manually installed plugin, find the yellow alert next to the plugin on Creative cloud, select uninstall, and install again from Creative Cloud,
