What are web push notifications?

Getting started
1. setup is easy
- For Shopify websites, you just need to activate the Web push toggle in the Web push campaign dashboard. 
For Shopify Headless websites, please follow the general instructions below.
- For other websites: follow the instructions here 
2. collect subscribers
 
βYou can now create a popup to collect subscribers:
- create a new popup 
- add the "web push opt-in" block

- customize design & targeting 
- benefit: high visibility, better conversion 
If you have the onsite feed on your website, you can also collect subscribers with a prompt inside the feed:
- create a new Feed notification, select the Web push opt-in campaign as below: 
- you can create several Web push opt-in campaign for example to handle multiple languages. 
- benefits: subtle, non-intrusive approach

- feed prompt: ~0.1% conversion rate 
- popup prompt: ~1% conversion rate 
- example: with 150k monthly visitors, feed + popup prompt will get you ~ 1,650 monthly subscribers 
3. Send push notifications
- go to the Web push section of the app 
- Click on "New Web push campaign", then confirm with "create campaign" 
- craft your message:

- select targeting rules for who will receive your message 
Visitors traits are based on the moment when they subscribed to Web push for the first time. They are not updated after that.

Tracking your web push subscriber count
You can track how many visitors are subscribing to your web push notifications in the banner on top of your Web push dashboard. This counter gives the actual number of current subscribers:
- By adding visitors who subscribed to web push using Wisepops campaigns, 
- By adding visitors who were migrated from your other web push tools 
- And by substracting previous subscribers who have unsubscribed 
Tracking the performance of your opt-in campaigns
To start deep diving into the performance of your Web push opt-in popup/feed campaigns, make sure that the "Push Subscriptions" goal is assigned to them.

Switching from another service?
