About Filters

Leverage filters to view the data through the lens of one category, or a limited set of categories, versus an entire assortment.

Utilize filters to narrow in on parts of the business that are relevant to you whether that is a specific category, competitor, or manufacturer.

This feature can be largely helpful for Category Managers who focus on parts of the business, or for drilling down into problem areas identified in the main dashboard.

Competitor Filter

Manufacturer Filter

How it Works

Once the filter is applied, any SKUs associated with the other selections will be removed from the dashboard summary view.

You can apply multiple filters at one time (for example, category and manufacturer), but are not required to. They are easily cleared with buttons in the left pane.

* Please note this is not a syndicated hierarchy, but rather one provided to Wiser by each client to mimic how you view your business. We can support up to four levels within the category hierarchy, so subcategory views are possible as well.

Best Practices

Familiarizing yourself with these filters when getting used to the platform as a new user is strongly encouraged. It can further help demonstrate how the data can be impactful to you and your teams.

If these filters are not narrow enough for your business questions, please reference the article on Product Lists to learn why that feature may be more useful.
