Step 1: Enable Wiser in the Theme Editor
Click on the “Enable App” button on the app dashboard.
2. The app has been enabled in your theme editor, click "Save" to activate
Step 2: Adding Recommendations to the pages.
Once the app is enabled, go to the Wiser dashboard, and from the "Install Instructions" section, copy the div of the widgets that you want to add on your store.
2. After you copy the div, go to Online Store >> themes >> edit code and add the div to the template on which you need to add the widget and save the file.
a. Copy "Related Products" div and wanted to add it on the product pages.b. In theme, search for "product template" and add the div in the end or change the position accordingly.
Step 3: Activating Recommendation Widgets in the Wiser App
1. From the left panel, click on Setup Widgets.
Once you have added the desired recommendations, open the Wiser Dashboard in your Shopify admin panel.
You'll see a list of pages where you can place recommendation widgets (product pages, cart page, etc.).
Click "Setup" for each page where you want to add product recommendations.
Step 4: Enabling Widgets on Specific Pages
After selecting a page, toggle the Enable Widget button for the recommendation widget you had selected in the theme editor specifically to display on that page.
Rename the widget to match the style or purpose of your store (e.g., “You May Also Like”).
Be sure to click "Save" after enabling each widget.
Step 5: Customizing Widget DesignIn the Wiser dashboard, go to Customize Widgets in the left panel.
Here, you can modify the design to match your store’s theme:
Choose between different layouts (grid, slider, etc.).
Adjust fonts, colors, and sizes to align with your branding.
