ℹ️ Questions around setting up your payout account

  1. πŸ” What's a SWIFT/BIC code? How can I find mine?

    ➑️ A SWIFT code β€” sometimes also called a BIC number β€” is a standard format for Business Identifier Codes (BIC). It’s used to identify banks and financial institutions globally. It's an international bank code - you can usually find the SWIFT/BIC for your bank by Googling online or reach out to your bank. If your bank is a special case where they don't have this code, please reach out to WishTender support.

  2. πŸ€” If I have a bank account in a different country than my country of residence, can I still set up an account?

    ➑️ It's completely possible for you to set up with a bank in a different country than your country of residence. In this instance, you just need to input your bank's address instead of your own when asked in the signup form.

  3. πŸ” What do I put as my currency?

    ➑️ You should pick the currency in which you want to receive your payout in. Your payout currency is different from and will not affect your display currency (which is what shows up on your wishlist). The reason we're noting this is because the per-payout fee depends on your country + currency combination.

  4. πŸ€” What do I put as my PoP?

    ➑️ We recommend keeping it unchanged from "Commission Payment"


πŸ‘‰ Common issues while setting up your payout account

  1. πŸ” I'm getting "The following missing fields are required (I-6013)" when submitting my banking info, but it doesn't say what fields are missing.

    ➑️ We're contacting the service we use for payouts and asking them to fix this error so you can know what fields are missing

  2. πŸ” I'm getting "No widget token or token expired"

    ➑️ This widget expires after 15 minutes. Please refresh and try again.

  3. πŸ” I'm getting "Contact already exists"

    ➑️ This probably happened because you're trying to set up your payout a second time and the first time you did your information was not saved properly, but it has already gone through to our partner's. If you encounter this situation, please reach out to WishTender support.
