To offer members additional perks and integrate them with your other apps and communications, you'll need to identify them in your Shopify customer records.

Withfriends synchronizes membership status of your customers using the customer tag feature on Shopify.

The name of the tag is the name of your membership tier on Withfriends. We also add the "Withfriends" tag to all members.

The tag is added when the member joins (or when they receive a gift membership), and a customer record is created in your shop if one did not already exist.

The tag is removed when the membership ends. Note that this is not when the membership is canceled, but when the membership has reached the end of its final period.
