Only available for Online Store 2.0 themes. For vintage themes, the membership widget is installed automatically, and you may skip this step.

To allow customers to purchase memberships from your product pages, you must add our membership widget app block to your product template. This app block is not customizable.

Preview and install the app block by clicking the link in the Launch section of the Withfriends app on Shopify. Please publish your products first, or this link will not work correctly.

Under Product information, click Add block and select Membership widget.

Use the drag handle on the right to reorder your app block to the position you’d like.

We suggest placing it above the Buy buttons:

Preview the app block in your theme editor. It should appear like this:

When you're ready, click Save to publish your changes.

It is not recommended, but you can remove this app block at any time by clicking Remove block on the bottom right.

If the install link doesn't work, please disable your popup blocker.

To upsell your customers into buying memberships during checkout, you can add our cart upsell app embed block to your cart template.

Preview and install the app embed block by clicking the link in the Launch section of the Withfriends app on Shopify.

Use the toggle switch at the top to activate or deactivate the upsell. It should look similar to this:

You can customize your upsell content by navigating back to Profile.

When you're ready, click Save to publish your changes.

If the install link doesn't work, please disable your popup blocker.

To make it easy for visitors to subscribe to your store from any page, add our Become a member badge app embed block to your index template.

Preview and install the app block by clicking the link in the Launch section of the Withfriends app on Shopify.

Your default badge will look like this:

Use the toggle switch at the top to activate or deactivate your badge, and use the other settings to customize the colors, logo, placement, and text.

To preview a change, just let the screen refresh automatically after you make the change.

When you're ready, click Save to publish your changes.
