First, let's address your paying customers with subscription box upsells

Before you start thinking about a landing page, we want to remind you that the Withfriends upsells will bring you subscribers automatically.

Foremost, our Add to Cart Upsell is a big winner and helps two times as many customers buy subscriptions. When you’ve turned it on, we’ll show a subscription upsell as soon as someone adds a product to their cart (but limited to once per shopping session). The offer is attractive because it applies the subscriber discount immediately on the item they added to the cart. It also only takes two clicks to become a subscriber, so it’s as easy as it gets to sign up.

This is available under Recommendations in the Launch Memberships tab.

In addition to the add-to-cart upsell, we recommend turning on these upsells in the Manage Upsells tab

  1. The post-checkout upsell (in browser)

  2. The post-checkout upsell (via email)

  3. Announcement mail to customers (via email)

Next, here are simple ways to publish your subscription boxes to all store visitors

In addition to upsells that reach your paying customers, these methods allow all of your online store visitors to learn about your subscriptions.

  1. Add a button to your navbar. Follow the instructions in the Launch Memberships tab.

  2. Add a floating button to all of your pages. Follow the instructions in the Launch Memberships tab.

  3. Add subscriptions to your home page. In the Shopify Theme Editor, click Add Section, select Featured Product, and select one any of your memberships. Note: If you're using a new OS2 Shopify theme, remove the Buy Buttons block, as they are not compatible with subscriptions.

Finally, here are landing page strategies for your subscription boxes

You may want to build a selling page for your subscription boxes that give visitors more information and a story that helps them decide to purchase.

Here are 3 methods, from simple to complex:

First, when you click launch, we automatically publish a membership page at this URL on your domain: /pages/memberships. You can simple share and link to this page. The benefit of this approach is that our team is constantly monitoring and improving our design for conversion, so you get that benefit built in. You can edit the text and video in the Manage Upsells tab of the app, and edit the location and images Advanced Options > Basics.

Second, to add more context than our default page allows, you might consider editing the membership collection, and sharing the collection page as your landing page, typically on your domain as: /collections/withfriends-memberships. Navigate to the Launch Memberships and click My membership collection. In the description, tell a story about your membership products with copy, images, and video.

Finally, you might opt to build a completely custom landing page for your subscription clubs. Here's a great example: https://bigspoonroasters.myshopify.com/pages/clubs. Go to Sales Channels > Online Store > Pages in your Shopify admin to create a new landing page. To create add-to-cart links, go to Advanced Options > Tiers > Copy Direct Link for each membership, or for a simpler option, follow the instructions Launch Memberships > Use our embed code on your website.

If you'd like any help with this, we can work with you to make sure your custom landing page is working perfectly. Email us at support@withfriends.co for further assistance.
