Here's how to ensure a seamless migration to Withfriends

Here's how to ensure a smooth an efficient migration from your old app and quickly get up and running on Withfriends!

  1. Select your migration date! After that date, Withfriends will handle all billing and shipments for you.

  2. Write to support@withfriends.co and let us know the following: When did you start using your current subscriptions app? and if you know it, what payment gateway you were using?

  3. Based on that, we'll give you instructions on how to export your customer data. Send that to us, and we'll review it and greenlight the migration.

  4. If you haven't already, launch your Withfriends memberships by following the required steps in the Launch tab.

  5. You should also stop selling new subscriptions on the previous app, and you should turn off all further billing on the app (in some cases, the best way to do this is to pause the subscriptions indefinitely)

  6. Once you confirm that, we'll import your members into Withfriends!

  7. They'll get a welcome letter that assures them continuity and that they don't need to do anything special. They'll continue being billed for their subscription and shipped merchandise at their existing rhyhtm. They can manage their settings by logging into your shop and clicking "Manage My Membership"

  8. At this point, you can remove the previous subscriptions app entirely, or simply remove the previous app's "Manage My Subscriptions" widget on your account page to keep things clean.
