Introduction: Get your Shopify store holiday-ready with special offers that grow your subscriber base. Create an exclusive deal for the festive season – like giving members a 50% discount for the first 3 months before returning to regular pricing. Here's how:


Step 1: Access Discounts

  • Log into your Shopify admin panel.

  • Click on ‘Discounts’ in the sidebar menu.

Step 2: Create a New Discount Code (Continued)

  • Click on ‘Create discount’ and select ‘Discount code’.

  • Enter a unique code or generate a random one.

Step 3: Set the Discount Value

  • Choose ‘Percentage’ and set it to, for example, 50%.

  • Under ‘Applies to’, select ‘All subscription products in a specific collection’.

  • Choose your Withfriends Memberships collection, for instance, ‘Withfriends Memberships’.

Step 4: Specify Subscription Settings

  • Select ‘Limit discount to multiple recurring payments’.

  • Set the number to ‘3’, for example, to apply the discount to the first 3 months. After three payments, the subscription will return to the normal price

Step 5: Determine Customer Eligibility

  • Choose ‘All customers’ to ensure everyone can enjoy the holiday spirit.

Step 6: Define Active Dates

  • Set your start date to when you want the promotion to begin, like December 1st.

  • Set the end date to the promotion's end, like December 31st.

Step 7: Maximum Discount Uses and Combinations

  • Skip maximum uses if you want all eligible customers to use it.

  • Decide if the discount can be combined with other offers.

Step 8: Communicate Your Offer

  • Announce the special holiday offer through your usual channels – email, social media, and your storefront.

Step 9: Launch & Monitor

  • Activate the discount and keep an eye on its performance.
