How to track your inventory levels

Mascot provides multiple ways to track your inventory levels. Mascot Pro and Mascot Expert subscribers can generate reports and access real-time inventory data for better inventory management.

For example, Mascot is particularly useful for managing trading card collections, providing detailed insights into inventory value and trends.

Generating a Current Inventory Report

To generate a report of your active inventory:

  1. Navigate to the Collection tab.

  2. In the upper right-hand corner, open the Actions menu and select “View Inventory Report”

While generating a report, you can:

  • Apply filters to identify specific inventory types.

  • Analyze supply trends over time to assess stock levels.

  • View the total listing price and the total cost of inventory data. These metrics include the Total Price, which is the sum of the list prices for all items, and the Total Cost, which represents the acquisition costs.

Tracking Inventory Levels for Multi-Quantity Items

You can monitor stock levels for multi-quantity items directly from your Collection view.

View Quantity in the Collection Tab

  1. Go to Collection.

  2. Click Column Headers.

  3. Search for Quantity.

  4. Enable the Quantity column.

The quantity column will display the current available inventory for each multi-quantity item, allowing you to quickly monitor stock levels without opening individual items.

Tips

  • Sort or filter by quantity to identify low-stock items.

  • Use the quantity column when managing sealed products, packs, boxes, or other multi-quantity inventory.

  • Review inventory levels regularly to avoid overselling.
