Nosso Referral Programme Terms and Conditions

Version 1.3

Availability of Nosso Refer a Friend Programme

1a. Referrer (Nosso customer): This offer is open to existing Nosso Limited (“Nosso”) customers. Existing customers are individuals that have cleared funds in their account meeting Nosso’s minimum investment requirements of:

  • £1 invested in either a Junior Investment and Savings Account (“JISA”) or General Investment Account (“GIA”)

2a. Referee (”Friend”): This offer is open to new customers. New customers are individuals who:

  • Have not invested with, or used the services of, Nosso before;

  • In Nosso’s reasonable opinion, are capable of being accepted as a customer of Nosso, in accordance with the requirements of Nosso’s standard Terms and Conditions, and all applicable law; and

  • Will be opening a Nosso JISA or GIA.

  • Is not for a child who is in the same household as the Referrer.

3a. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other Nosso offer or promotion.

4a. The Referrer can refer a Friend through the official Nosso referral system and/or using a Nosso referral link an unlimited number of times.

Referrer

1b. Under the terms of this offer, a gift worth up to £20 (“Referrer Reward”) will be sent to the Referrer email used when setting up their account, for every new referee (”Friend”) referred to Nosso who becomes an investor within 45 days of being referred.

The Referrer Reward will be sent to the Referrer’s Nosso account and/or email address within 30 days of the Friend depositing £50 into their Nosso account (”First Deposit Date”). The Referrer Reward may only be redeemed by the Referrer if they also comply with the following requirements:

  • The Referrer must remain invested with Nosso for a minimum of 12 months from the Friend’s First Deposit Date, with a minimum of £50 remaining in either their Nosso JISA or GIA.

2b. If the Referrer Reward has not been sent via email within 30 days of the Friend’s First Deposit Date, please contact Nosso’s Customer Support team within 3 months of this date to ensure it is applied.

3b. Failure to comply with the requirements set out in 1b shall entitle Nosso to:

  • Reclaim an amount equal to the value of the Referrer Reward from the Referrer’s Nosso account; and forfeit the unclaimed Referrer Reward.

4b. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other Nosso offer or promotion.

5b. Referrer will receive a Referrer Reward according to the first product opened by the Friend in accordance with the terms described further below. The Referrer Reward is not cumulative.

The Referrer Rewards available are as follows:

  • Junior ISA: £20 gift for the Referrer

  • Junior ISA: £20 gift for the Referee

  • General Investment Account: £20 gift for the Referrer

  • General Investment Account: £20 gift for Referee

  • The Referer must not be referring someone who has a child in the same household as the Referer.

Referee / Friend

1c. Under the terms of this offer, in order to be eligible for the Referrer Reward the Friend must have been referred by an existing Nosso customer. The Friend must meet the following conditions:

  • Open a Nosso JISA or GIA within 45 days of the referral link being sent;

  • Make their First Deposit within 30 days of opening a Nosso JISA or GIA; and

  • Deposit a minimum of £50

  • The Referee must remain invested with Nosso for a minimum of 12 months from the First Deposit Date, with a minimum of £50 remaining in their JISA and/or GIA.

2c. Provided that the conditions are met the Friend will receive the Referrer Reward paid into their Nosso investment account. The Referrer Reward will be sent to the Friend’s email address within 30 days from the Friend’s First Deposit Date.

3c. If the Referrer Reward has not been sent via email within 30 days of the Friend’s First Deposit Date, please contact Nosso’s Customer Support team within 3 months of this date to ensure it is applied.

4c. Failure to comply with the requirements set out in 1c shall entitle Nosso to:

  • Reclaim an amount equal to the value of the Referrer Reward from the Referee’s Nosso account, and forfeit any unclaimed Referrer Reward.

5c. Successfully referred Friends will still be subject to Nosso’s platform fees, the underlying fund costs and the impact of market spread. Details of Nosso’s costs and charges are available here.

6c. Please note, any subsequently opened product will be subject to the minimum investment requirements as outlined in Nosso’s Standard Terms and Conditions.

Prohibited Uses

1d. You may only use our Refer a Friend Programme in good faith for lawful purposes.

2d. You may not:

  • create more than one account in order to invite yourself;

  • invite others that have created duplicate accounts; use alternative contact information to refer yourself or others that have created duplicate accounts;

  • invite members that you do not know personally if you do so in a way that (in Nosso’s sole and absolute opinion) constitutes spam or other undesirable or unsolicited communications;

  • invite an existing customer of Nosso;

  • invite fictitious persons;

  • do anything that damages Nosso’s brand, goodwill or reputation;

  • use the Refer a Friend Programme in any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation or in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect;

  • transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam);

  • otherwise, attempt to circumvent this Refer a Friend Referral Programme; or

  • Any obligation on you not to do something includes an obligation not to allow that thing to be done.‍

Data protection

1e. You represent and warrant to us that you have obtained the express consent from the individuals whose data you provide us with, to the extent you provide us with such data.

Abuse of Nosso’s Refer a Friend Terms and Conditions

1f. Nosso has the right to refuse to pay you the Referral Reward if (at its sole and absolute discretion) Nosso suspects that you have not used the Refer a Friend Programme in good faith or have breached these terms and conditions.

2f. We will determine, at our sole and absolute discretion, whether there has been a breach of this Agreement.

3f. When a breach of these terms and conditions has occurred, Nosso may take such action as we deem appropriate, including (but not limited to) termination of the Refer a Friend Programme, clawing back of Referral Rewards, closing your account(s), closing third party account(s) and suspending the Refer a Friend Programme.

Limitation of Liability

1g. Nosso accepts no liability for any use of the Refer a Friend Programme which does not comply with these terms and conditions.

Changes to these Terms and Conditions

1h. We may revise these terms and conditions at any time by amending this page. Continued use of the Refer A Friend Programme shall amount to acceptance of the terms and conditions in force at that time.

Changes to this Refer a Friend Programme

1i. Nosso reserves the right to:

  • amend, alter or change the Refer a Friend Programme at any time, without notice; and

  • terminate the Refer a Friend Programme at any time, without notice. In the event the Refer a Friend Programme is terminated,

  • Nosso will not be obliged to make Referral Rewards to any accounts that would have not otherwise qualified for a Referral Reward‍

Applicable Law

These terms and conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this agreement or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).
