When are Meeting Summaries and Takeaways generated?
Takeaways are generated at the end of the meeting and should update in page within 5-10 minutes of them completing.
Can I only get emails for Direct mentions?
We're planning to expand notifications with more granular options. But for now you can set a mail filter on the Subject for "was mentioned in". This will allow you to filter the emails you're getting from Page to only Direct Mentions.
Does Page use AI?
Yes, Page uses LLM's to transcribe and analyze government meetings and activities.
Is our data safe?
Absolutely! Page ensures that customer data is completely siloed, meaning it’s only accessible to your organization and no one else. Within your account, if you're monitoring for multiple clients, each client’s data is isolated and does not influence or interact with data from any other clients. Check our Data Policy and Privacy Policy for more information.
What are LLMs and How Do They Work?
Q: What are LLMs?
A: LLMs, or Large Language Models, are a type of artificial intelligence (AI) designed to understand and generate human language. Think of them as very advanced text processors that can read, summarize, translate, and even write text in a way that feels natural and human-like.
In the context of Page, our SaaS tool, LLMs help us process and analyze large amounts of text from government meetings, transcripts, and other sources. This allows us to provide you with clear, relevant summaries and insights without you having to sift through all the raw data yourself.
Q: How do LLMs work?
A: LLMs work by learning patterns in language from vast amounts of text. They are trained on everything from books and articles to websites, allowing them to understand grammar, context, and even the nuances of human communication.
Here’s a simple way to think about it:
• Training: Imagine teaching a child to understand language by reading them millions of books. Over time, the child learns how words, sentences, and ideas are structured. Similarly, LLMs are trained on massive amounts of text data to “learn” language.
• Understanding: Once trained, an LLM can read new text and understand what it’s about. For example, when Page processes a government meeting transcript, the LLM identifies key topics, important quotes, and other relevant details.
• Generating: LLMs can also generate text based on what they’ve learned. In Page, this means that after analyzing a government meeting, the LLM can summarize the key points and suggest actions relevant to your clients.
Q: Why does Page use LLMs?
A: Page uses LLMs to make government information more accessible and actionable. Government meetings and documents are often long and complex, making it hard to find the specific details that matter to you. By leveraging LLMs, Page can quickly analyze this information, highlight what’s important, and present it in a way that’s easy to understand.
For example, instead of reading through hours of meeting transcripts, Page can give you a concise summary and key takeaways, saving you time and helping you stay informed.
Q: Are LLMs perfect?
A: While LLMs are incredibly powerful, they aren’t perfect. They rely on the data they were trained on, so sometimes they might miss nuances or misunderstand context, especially in highly specialized areas. That being said, we are continually working to improve the quality of the transcripts and analysis in order to reduce errors and improve quality.
