Your Apple Developer account is now created. The next step is to enroll in the Apple Developer Program.

Step 2: Enroll in the Apple Developer Program

Enrolling in the Apple Developer Program grants you access to the resources needed to publish your branded Tether LMS app. The membership fee is $99 per year.

  1. Initiate enrollment:

    • On your Apple Developer Account page, locate Join the Apple Developer Program and click the Enroll Today button.

  2. Choose enrollment method:

(Alternatively, you can download the Apple Developer app and enroll via the app.)

  4. Select your entity type:

    • Click into the dropdown menu and select your entity type.

For Tether LMS to assist with your app build, it’s recommended to create an account as an Organization.

Note: You’ll need to have or apply for a D-U-N-S number.

  5. Review and accept the legal agreement:

Step 3: Complete Identity Verification

Apple requires identity verification to ensure the security of your account.

  1. Prepare your identification:

    • Take a picture of your government-issued photo ID (or any other document Apple requests) and save it to your device.

You’ll see a confirmation message indicating that your documents are being processed. You’ll receive an email notification once your membership has been activated.

Additional Notes

  • D-U-N-S Number:

If you’re enrolling as an organization, you’ll need a D-U-N-S number. You can look up or request one for free through Apple’s D-U-N-S Number lookup tool.

  • App Store Connect Access:

Once your Apple Developer Program membership is active, you’ll gain access to App Store Connect, where you can manage your app’s distribution.
