STUDENT-Sending a message to a teacher in Genius

This article shows students how to send a message to a teacher in Genius

Go to the eAcademy™ website (https://wiueacademy.org/) and click eAcademy Users Login Here! or click Login from the top menu bar.

Click your school district name and log into Genius.

From the left navigation menu, click Student’s Messages.

Click Compose.

In the To field, type the teacher’s first or last name. Once the teacher’s name appears, click the name to select it. Fill out the Subject and then write your message.

When finished writing your message, click Send at the bottom right.

Reading and replying to a message sent to you in Genius

After logging into Genius, click Student’s Messages.

Bolded messages are unread messages. Click a bolded message to read the entire message.

Click Reply to respond to the message.

In the To field, you will need to type the teacher’s first or last name again. Once the teacher’s name appears, click the name to select it. Fill out the Subject and then write your reply message.

When finished writing your reply message, click Send at the bottom right.
