Two types of assignments in eAcademy™ include Online text and File submissions. Your teacher can use either of these types of assignments or both at the same time.

Online text: Online text assignments allow you to type or copy/paste your answers into a text box. Besides text, you can insert audio, video, photos, or links to files directly into the text box and then submit the answers. Online text assignments might be used for answers to worksheets, short answers, essays, and journals.

File submissions: With File submissions, you upload one or more files in response to the assignment instructions. Some of the files you can upload include PDFs, Word documents, or Text documents.

How to submit an assignment in eAcademy™

Click the assignment name in your eAcademy™ course. Here’s an example.

Click Add submission.

Instructions for Online text assignments

You can click the Toolbar toggle button to expand the editing options, if desired. Type your answers in the text box. You can also paste a link to a file in the text box, such as a Google Doc stored in a Google Drive folder or a Word document stored in a OneDrive folder.
