eAcademy students may take online courses in two different learning management systems (platforms): Schoology and Buzz. Courses in Schoology are created by our local teachers and the course name ends with - SC. We supplement our courses with vendor courses created by Accelerate Education or Pearson Connexus. These courses are hosted on the Buzz platform.

Academic Snapshot: Displays the course names and current cumulative grades to date. To see the student’s quarter (9-week) grades, scroll down this document to learn more about the Report Card report.
Completed Courses: Once the eAcademy staff member marks a student as Complete at the end of the school year, the course name and final grade will appear here.
Upcoming Events: Displays the eAcademy calendar events.
Messages: Displays any new messages sent to the student or you.
Activity: Displays the student’s online activity level for the last 7 days, which is the approximate number of minutes the student has spent in a course.
NOTE: Only Accelerate Education (AE) courses will display the student’s activity level.
Student’s Messages: Displays the messages sent by teachers to the student. The Guardian’s Messages displays any messages sent to you. Messages in bold have not been viewed by the student yet.

Course Information: Click each course name to view the course description, course length, course credits, and the teacher’s name.
Gradebook: Displays the course name, start date, end date, current cumulative grade to date, number of assignments completed out of the total assignments, course length, and teacher’s name. Click the radio button to the left of each course name to view the course details including the assignment name, total possible points, earned points, and grade % for each course. You can also view the teacher’s email address on this screen.
Student Activity: Displays the approximate number of minutes each day the student has spent in an Accelerate Education course. To view different time frames, change the search criteria and click Get Data.
View Transcript: Once eAcademy staff members mark a student as Complete at the end of the school year, the course name and final grade will appear here.
Student Information: Displays the student’s basic information, address, guardian information, and any additional information such as an IEP.
Report Card: Displays the student’s quarter grades ONLY for Accelerate Education courses. For best results, enter the quarter’s Start Date and End Date when running the report. This ensures that all graded items for the quarter are included in the report.
