Q: Where do I go to log into courses through eAcademy?

Q: What is Genius?

A: Genius is a Student Information System (SIS) that acts as a front door to your online courses. This SIS also shows high-level student information, such as logins, courses, communication from teachers, and grades.

Q: What is Schoology?

A: Schoology is a Learning Management System (LMS) that houses online courses that are developed and taught by eAcademy teachers across Westmoreland County.

Q: What is Virtual School Toolkit (VST)?

A: Virtual School Toolkit is a Learning Management System (LMS) that houses online courses from VLN Education. Courses are taught by both eAcademyPLUS teachers across Westmoreland County and VLN Education teachers.

Q: Where do I go for technical assistance or questions?

A: Please direct all questions to the eAcademy Help Desk by using this link: https://support.wiueacademy.org. When submitting your ticket, please be as specific as possible. This is the fastest way for you to get assistance. In addition, it allows us to track issues globally to determine if an issue is an isolated event or if there is a larger issue that needs to be addressed. This data is crucial for us to ensure that everything is working properly for all of our users. Please only submit one ticket per issue to avoid confusion.
