DISTRICT STUDENT-Reaching out to the eAcademy™ Help Desk

This article shows district students taking credit recovery courses when and how to reach out to the eAcademy™ Help Desk

Welcome to the eAcademy™ Help Desk! As you complete your courses, there may be times when you need assistance.

HELP DESK HOURS:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Eastern Time

WHEN TO CONTACT YOUR SCHOOL DISTRICT LIAISON:

Please reach out to your School District Liaison if you need to schedule or drop a course or have issues with district-issued equipment.

WHEN TO CONTACT YOUR ONLINE TEACHER:

Please reach out to your online teacher if you have a question about your grades, need to know how to complete an assignment, or need a quiz or assignment extension.

WHEN TO CONTACT THE eACADEMY HELP DESK:

Here are some common reasons to contact the eAcademy™ Help Desk.

~ Password reset or login issues

Course issues: Videos will not play or unable to hear sound / Unable to open a document / Unable to get to a website

CONTACTING THE eACADEMY HELP DESK FROM MOODLE

From the Moodle login page or after you log into Moodle, click the live chat icon at the bottom right of the page.

You can either Search for help or Start a conversation with the Help Desk staff.

Search for help: Either click one of the suggested articles or type in a keyword.

Start a conversation: If the articles don’t resolve your issue, then you can start a conversation with a Help Desk staff member. Click Send us a message.

  1. Next, enter your email address.

  2. Write your message. Provide detailed information about your issue.

  3. Click Send. Your issue will be assigned to a Help Desk staff member who will work with you to resolve your issue.

The next time you click the live chat icon, you have three options.

A. Continue a previous conversation you were having with a help desk staff member by clicking the blue arrow to the right.

B. Start another conversation by clicking Send us a Message. If it is after hours, you will see when we will be back online to respond to your issue. If you had previous conversations, you will also see a link to See all your conversations.

C. Find your answer now by typing a keyword in the Search our articles field and clicking the arrow. Any articles related to your issue will be displayed.

To close the live chat, click the live chat icon at the bottom right of the page a second time.
