Once your Google Slides are finished, click Share at the top right of the page.

Change the permission to Anyone with the link and verify that the role is set to Viewer. Then click Done.

Click File from the top menu bar. Click Share and then click Publish to the web.

Click the Embed tab.

From the drop-down menu under Slide size, select Small (480x299). Medium will be too large.

Click Publish. You can leave Auto-advance slides set to every 3 seconds (default). The slides will only auto-play if the student selects the option when viewing your slides.

Click OK in the dialog box, Are you sure you want to publish this selection?

Copy the highlighted embed code by clicking Ctrl + C (PC) or Cmd + C (MAC).

Navigate to your Moodle course, access one of your books, and click the Edit chapter icon (gear icon) to edit the desired page within the book.

Click the Toolbar Toggle button to expand the text editor toolbar.

In the content area, if needed, add text to introduce your Google Slides presentation. Below your introductory text, place the cursor where you want to insert the presentation.

Click Edit HTML source on the bottom row of the toolbar to paste in the embed code.

Paste (1) the embed code by using Ctrl + V (PC) or Cmd + V (Mac).

Click Update (2). Continue editing the page as needed.

Click Save changes. You can now see the embedded image inside the book chapter.

The presentation will now be displayed in the book chapter. You can edit the page to increase the width and height if you don’t think it’s large enough for students to view the content.
