As an Online Education Advisor (OEA), you have the ability to create Guardian accounts in Genius for family members who may want to monitor their student’s progress in eAcademy. Click here for the resource, Creating a Guardian account in Genius.
Schoology: If your district students are enrolled in Schoology courses, request to have a Parent account created in Schoology.
Accelerate Education and Buzz: If your district students are enrolled in Accelerate Education courses, request to have an Observer account created in Buzz.

After responding to the Help Desk prompts for your email address, name, role, and system, include the following information in your request.
The guardian’s first name, last name, and email address.
The student name(s) that the guardian will need to monitor in Schoology and/or Buzz.
Indicate if the guardian needs an account in Schoology, Buzz, or both systems.
The Help Desk staff will create the account(s) and send the login information to the family member(s).
