Accessing a student’s account in Schoology

After logging into Schoology, click TOOLS and then click Advisor Dashboard.

If you are only monitoring a few students, click a student’s name from the drop-down list to view their account. If you are monitoring many students, you will need to type the student’s name in the Search field to locate the student.

Click the applicable student name if multiple students appear in the list.

Schoology Tabs

SUMMARY

Displays the active grading period's grades. Grading periods are defined each school year as Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4. If you don’t see a grade listed, the grading period may have just started and submitted assignments may not have been graded yet. You can also view any Overdue or Upcoming graded materials on the right.

➤ Click a course name to access the course.

Within a course, click Grades from the left menu.

If you see a dash () where a grade should be, the student has not completed the item yet.

CALENDAR

Displays the current month and when graded materials are due for each course.

➤ Click an assignment name to see more information about the assignment.

GRADES

Displays a list of the student’s courses in Schoology.

➤ Click a course name to view the grades from each quarter.

The page will open with the active quarter expanded. Scroll down the page to click other course names and view the quarter grades.

➤ Click Download Student Report to download the Grades/Attendance Report.

Select the grading periods you would like to appear in the report, and then click Next.

Click Select All or individually select the courses you would like to view, and then click Submit.

The grades will appear on the next page.

Right click on the page to select options such as Save as… or Print….

Click your browser’s Back arrow to return to the previous page.

ATTENDANCE

Since each school district has their own method of calculating attendance, and eAcademy is an asynchronous program where students can work at their own pace and log in any day and time of the week, eAcademy does not use this feature.
