With a CPE course, which is a protected game, you will need to create a game invitation and send the invitation link to your registered students. Follow the steps below to create an invitation link for your CPE course.

Go to the P.L.A.Y. Network website (https://www.playlearngrow.info/), click Go P.L.A.Y., and log into your account.

From the P.L.A.Y. Alludo home page, click Admin.

Click Games under Game Management.

Click the game (CPE course) you wish to create invitations for.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click INVITATIONS.

Click INVITATIONS LIST.

Click + ADD.

Invitation options:

  1. Open or Closed Invitation: For CPE courses, keep the invitation as Closed, which is the default option. With a closed invitation, every person receives a unique link that provides them with access to the game. Once the person clicks on the link, it cannot be used by that person a second time.

  2. Roles: Select player.

  3. Groups: Leave this field blank.

  4. Email: Enter the email address of each registered student/player with a comma and space in between emails.

Click CREATE.

Each student/player should receive an email directly from P.L.A.Y. Alludo that invites them to the game; however, sometimes the invitation from P.L.A.Y. Alludo is blocked by Spam filters, so we suggest copying the invitation link you just created and adding the link in the Welcome email.

As long as each student/player’s email address is entered in the E-mails field of the invitation (see the three emails entered in the image above), then all three of those players can receive the same copied invitation link to the course in the Welcome email.

Copying the Invitation Link: To copy the invitation link, click the copy icon. Paste the invitation link in the Welcome email to your registered students.

You should include the following resources in your invitation email for any new students.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT LATE REGISTRATIONS

If students enroll into your course after you sent a link to the first closed invitation, you will need to create a second closed invitation, add the students’ email addresses, and send the new students the new closed invitation link.
