  • Optional Alerts and Notifications: Some optional alerts (for example, budgeting reminders or progress updates) may be managed in your WizeFi profile or app notification settings. Turning off optional alerts will not affect receipt of account-critical communications.

10. Data Security and Communication Encryption

WizeFi, Inc. hosts its technology infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leading cloud service provider known for its robust physical and digital security controls. AWS operates world-class data centers with 24/7 on-site security personnel, video surveillance, intrusion detection systems, and multi-factor access controls. These facilities are subject to regular third-party audits and maintain certifications such as ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2, and PCI DSS.

Within this environment, WizeFi and its service partners implement a multi-layered security program designed to protect customer data and maintain service integrity. These measures include:

  • Network security controls such as firewalls, virtual private cloud (VPC) isolation, and traffic monitoring;

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols;

  • Access controls based on the principle of least privilege;

  • Authentication and authorization safeguards for all administrative and user accounts; and

  • Routine monitoring, logging, and vulnerability management processes.

While WizeFi takes reasonable steps to secure its systems and protect user information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and WizeFi cannot guarantee absolute security of the Service or any data transmitted through it.

User authentication and session management are handled through Clerk.com, which uses secure encryption and session tokenization to protect user credentials and access. From the time you submit your email address and password, these communications between your computer and WizeFi.com are encrypted. This enables client and server applications to communicate in a way that is designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, and message forgery.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your email address and password. We also recommend that you change your password periodically. You may not provide these credentials to any third party. If you believe that they have been stolen or been made known to others, you must contact us immediately at support@WizeFi.com. If this occurs, you should change your password immediately via the Service. We are not responsible if someone else accesses your account through Registration Information they have obtained from you or through a violation by you of this Privacy and Security Policy or the WizeFi.com Terms of Use.

11. Updates to the Privacy and Security Policy

We update this Privacy & Security Policy periodically. The date last revised appears at the top of the Policy. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on WizeFi.com.
