Setting Up Two-Way SMS on WIZniche
Step 1: Access SMS Settings
Log in to your WIZniche account and navigate to Settings.
From Settings, go to Communication, and select SMS Settings. Here, you can configure all aspects of two-way SMS messaging.
Step 2: Configure Your Business SMS Number
Under SMS Settings, select your WIZniche Number. Within seconds this number will be saved and will serve as the central line for all SMS communications with customers.
Step 3: SMS Opt-In and Opt-Out Keywords
In the Opt in and out section, you learn about the keywords that allow customers to opt in or out of receiving SMS messages.
Pro Tip: This ensures compliance with communication preferences and enhances customer control over message subscriptions.
Step 4: Monitor SMS Usage
The Usage section provides a real-time view of your current SMS usage.
Pro Tip: If you’re approaching your limit, click Upgrade to purchase additional SMS credits as needed.
WIZniche offers different SMS limits depending on your subscription plan:
Kick-Starter Plan: 250 SMS messages per month
Starter/Team/Professional Plan: 2,500 SMS messages per month

Using the Text Messenger Window
The Text Messenger Window provides a centralized location to manage all SMS conversations with your customers.
Access the Text Messenger Window from the top navigation bar.
Browse through past conversations, or use the Filter option to sort messages by Read, Unread, or Starred status.
To initiate a new conversation, click New Message and enter the customer’s phone number or search by name.
You can also Copy, Forward, or Star messages to better organize and prioritize your interactions.
Understanding SMS Statuses
WIZniche provides real-time updates on message statuses, helping you keep track of each SMS's delivery progress. The available statuses include:
Sent: The message was successfully sent via Twilio.
Delivered: The carrier has confirmed the message’s delivery.
Undelivered: The message was not successfully delivered.
These status updates are displayed in the Text Messenger Window, so you always know the status of each message.
