If you’ve just switched to a Crawler WM integration – including Weedmaps’ integrations with Blaze, Cova, FlowHub, Dutchie, or Treez – and noticed that products that were previously listed as branded/verified products no longer display the blue checkmark indicating that the brand has confirmed you’re authorized, you have two (2) options to get them to show as a branded/verified product again.
A menu item correctly displaying the blue checkmark of a branded/verified product.
NOTE: These two options only apply if you’re using a Crawler WM Integration. If you’re not using a Crawler WM Integration, performing these steps may cause serious issues with your menu. Contact support at biz-help@weedmaps.com if you’re not sure which type of WM Integration you have.
Option 1: Get help from the menu curation team
If you have a lot of products that need to be re-verified, the menu curation team can do the work for you the first time. (Thereafter, refer to option 2 below if you need to re-verify products on a one-off basis.) Contact support at biz-help@weedmaps.com and let them know that you just switched to a Crawler integration and want to re-verify your products. They will get back to you with an estimated time to complete it.
With this option, keep in mind:
If the brand name is not unique or closely resembles other brand names, the menu curation team may have difficulty discerning which is the correct brand.
A brand may have unpublished the product you want to re-verify. In this situation, the menu curation team will be unable to re-verify the product.
In addition, an entire brand and all of its products may have been unpublished. Similarly, the menu curation team will be unable to re-verify the product(s).
Option 2: Edit each menu item
If you don’t have many products to re-verify and prefer to handle it on your own, follow these steps.
From WM Admin, go to the LISTINGS tab and click EDIT next to your listing.
Go to the MENU tab.
Hover over the product you want to re-verify and click the pencil icon to edit it.
Change its setting to Branded Product.
Type in the Brand and Product and select the correct choices from the search results that appear.
When you’re finished, click Save.
NOTE: If the brand has auto-approve enabled, your edited product will show up as branded/verified immediately. If not, you will need to wait until the brand has approved it.
