Overview
Activating Weedmaps Online Ordering converts your static menu into an active digital storefront. Enabling ordering allows consumers browsing your Weedmaps listing or embedded WM Store to build a cart and submit pickup or delivery requests directly, driving higher conversion rates and expanding sales.
How to Request Online Ordering Activation
Online ordering features are managed through your Weedmaps account subscription. To activate Online Ordering for your listing:
Contact your Weedmaps Representative to request activation for your listings.
Alternatively, reach out directly to Weedmaps Support via email at help@weedmaps.com or by phone at (844) 933-3627.
Once enabled, access to the Orders tab and fulfillment management tools will automatically unlock in your Weedmaps Admin Account.
What Happens When Online Ordering Is Enabled
Once online ordering is activated for your listing, the following capabilities become live:
Interactive "Add to Cart" Functionality
A "+" appears next to products on your menu, enabling Add to Cart functionality on your Weedmaps listing.
Access to WM Orders Fulfillment Center
Your account unlocks the Orders workspace in Weedmaps Admin, enabling your team to process orders, assign delivery couriers, track live status queues, and analyze transactional ledgers.
Point of Sale (POS) Orders Integration
If your Point of Sale (POS) system supports Weedmaps Orders Integration (e.g., Dutchie, BLAZE, Meadow, Cova), incoming orders flow automatically into your POS queue for seamless inventory deduction and fulfillment ticketing.
Beneficial Post-Activation Configuration Steps
After online ordering is enabled on your listing, complete these setup steps in Weedmaps Admin to ensure smooth daily operations:
Configure Notifications & Auto Print
Install the Weedmaps Auto Print Utility or download the WM Orders Desktop/Mobile Apps to ensure staff receive real-time audio alerts and automated printed order receipts.
Enable Scheduled & After-Hours Ordering
Optional settings in Zones and Listing Settings that allow consumers to book future delivery slots or queue orders outside active fulfillment hours.
