Step 1
Login to the Woby portal via www.portal.woby.nl and click on Edit according the screenshot below.
Step 2
Choose the desired import settings by checking or unchecking the checkbox.
For example, if the checkbox 'Update product names' is on, the Woby app will show the product name exactly as the product is described in your POS system.
Step 3
Want a different name in the Woby app?
Then uncheck 'Update product names' and click Save and change the products to the desired name in the Woby portal.
Please note when unchecked and you want to add a new product or add a new modifier supplement. Changing a productname in the POS is not recommended. Woby recommend creating a new product or modifier choice instead of changing the name.
Final step 4
Check that indeed product names are no longer overwritten after an import.
Login to the Woby connector https://woby-connector.omniboost.io/login and start the import by clicking on 'Sync Products'.
Points of attention:
'Woby information Articles' will not delete when "Delete products which are NOT in import" is on.
If "Remove all menus before importing" is off, new products will still be added to the menu.
When "Remove all menus before importing" is on, it only ensures that menus/ sales area's that are not in the import are removed.
