Wochit offers a lot of editorial, creative and social content from within the media library. But, sometimes it just doesn't quite tell the story the same way your own footage would!

You can either:

  • Drag and drop assets straight into the lightbox

  • In the media library, either drag and drop anywhere on the screen, or hover over the upload icon to browse files, connect with your dropbox or OneDrive account

As you upload images or video clips, you can select whether this should be shared with the rest of the team or kept private. You can also name your files, add tags or add a credit to the asset.

Here's what you learned:

  1. Drag and drop an image or video file to the media area of the timeline editor

  2. Alternatively, click "Upload or Drag" to browse local files

  3. When browsing the media library, hover over the upload icon to the right of the search bar to connect with your OneDrive/Sharepoint, Dropbox, to upload or record a video from this tab

  4. Select sharing permissions as you upload your material

  5. Name your files and add tags to make the material more discoverable to your colleagues, and easier to find for future use
