The key difference between editorial and creative content in the Wochit library;

is how that content is permitted to be used. It is a complex question, but here is an easy answer: If you want to create a video for promotional purposes or for a video ad - use the creative library. It comes with commercial rights - except for broadcast. The creative library is vast and gives you access to millions of videos and images and you will easily find what you are looking for.

The editorial library is no less impressive - but you need to know how you can use it.

Editorial content cannot be used to promote, or monetize anything. Editorial content often contains images of celebrities, politicians or company logos. You must not use this content for promotional purposes. People in these images or videos have not given their consent ('model release') to this kind of use. However, editorial content can be used for news or educational purposes.
